Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes .....October 2016

Effective immediately, we've had to make the difficult decision to not allow dogs at the brewery anymore due to a recent incident.  We love dogs and wish this weren't so, but we've got to watch out for our human friends first. Sorry y'all.

We are changing our Saturday hours to 12-5pm. We are also not allowing smoking in the front of the brewery at all, if you must smoke, off to the sides of the building only please. It tends to blow right in through our big front door and that's not cool for non-smoking folks, which are the majority of our visitors.

As always, we appreciate your support!

Growing Pains 2016

Man, fall weather can't come soon enough around here! Fall is the time where lots of events are happening, both beer centered and not. We wanted to let you know why you haven't been seeing much of us- and won't be for awhile longer. We are knee deep in FINALLY getting this taproom/expansion built. Being the old navy base, that has turned into environmental paperwork vortex of time and energy. We've curtailed our event participation to a minimum to try to help minimize the stress and pull on our whole crew's time and sanity. Have no fear, we will get there and we will have a proper bar (air conditioned!) space to enjoy! So, we're sorry you won't be seeing us much at Charleston Beer Week and no COASToberfest this year.  We await the arrival of 4 new tanks but had to pull out 2 old ones so even our seasonal availability has been slim. I think you get the picture.....growing pains!

We appreciate your support all these years (9 and counting ?!!?).

Can update December 2015

You may have heard about the problem with can manufacturing affecting small breweries right now. We were (along with countless others) dropped by our manufacturer Crown because we are a small volume brewery. We've had to scramble to find a new manufacturer, which we have. Unfortunately, 16oz. cans have such a long wait time we had to switch our entire lineup to 12 oz. cans. The good news is that they should all be arriving in January 2016!  We had just ordered 16 oz, HopArt cans so they will be around for a few more months but we are out of 16oz. 32/50 Kolsch cans until the 12oz. arrive. Stay tuned!

And on the plus side......they look badass!

Rebrand: New site, merch, cans and stuff

We're excited to continue our work with long time friends and original COAST designers Fuzzco. The shop area of the new site is still in the works as we await the delivery of all the great new merch. All the gorgeous new cans are currently being approved by TTB. The last piece of the puzzle, the taproom, seems to be sadly always just out of reach. We are attempting to acquire the building next door. More on that, hopefully soon.

Beer, Whiskey, Chicken

Come one, come all to our special release party for Willett Straight Rye Whiskey Aged Blackbeerd Imperial Stout! We'll have fried chicken from Chick’s Fry House.
